Q. What if I don’t have my own email address?

A. You need an email address to apply for a job. But don’t stress, getting an email address is simple. Just head to Gmail, Hotmail, yahoo, or any of the other free email providers to set one up.

 

Q. What do I need to bring to my interview?

A. Just a copy of your resume, and any supporting identification and right to work documents i.e Visa, right to work permit, birth certificate etc. And yourself of course!

 

Q. Who is eligible to work at Sizzler?

A. It is a legal requirement that all employees have the right to work in Australia, if you are invited to an interview, you will need to demonstrate your right to work in Australia by providing an original of one of the following documents:

  • Australia Passport 
  • Australia Citizenship Certificate and photo ID 
  • Australian Birth Certificate (the birth certificate must show that at least one parent was born in Australia. If it does not, you will also be required to provide one parent’s current Australia Citizenship Certificate or Permanent Residence Visa)
  • New Zealand Passport with Australian Immigration Entry Stamp 
  • Foreign Passport with Permanent Residency Visa 
  • Foreign Passport with Visa work conditions 8104, 8105, 8417

 


Q. What hours will I work?

A. Depending on the role, the number of hours that an employee works will vary. A full-time employee will work a minimum of 38 hours per week, whereas a part-time employee will work the hours they are contracted to work. For casual employees there is no guarantee of hours, so the hours can vary according to business demand. The number of hours is also dependent on your availability.
